In my haste to tell you about our holidays I forgot to even mention that we went to Paris while we were in London. What a stroke of luck that was for me. Nick has already been to Paris twice before we went on this trip and really had no desire to go again. But of course I wanted to go. When we went to London we were able to take the Euro Star to Paris for the day. A day was just enough but it was a busy day. We had to hit all the highlights:
Notre Dame
Eiffel Tower
Arc de Triomphe
and the Louvre
It was a great day and we saw everything I wanted to see in Paris. I'm glad we spent the day doing that because I don't think I would have ever talked Nick into taking a vacation there. There's always the chance that he'll have to go back for work sometime in the future. Paris wasn't my favorite place we've been but of course, I'm glad I've been.
We've already taken a trip in 2010 (well we spent New Years on a trip) so I'll have to share that trip soon. It was a blast, we went to Orlando and boy was it magical! Orlando makes you feel like a kid again.
