Fall

I have to say...I love this season. I love the weather cooling down, I love the colors of fall, the fall smells and I love the thought of pulling sweaters out of the closet. Plus October is my FAVORITE month! Why?! you may ask....well there are several reasons:

1. Hockey season starts! (By the time October rolls around I'm DYING for a good hockey game)
2. State Fair
3. I can spend time outside without sweating
4. We usually take our week long vacation in October, although some years it's been earlier
5. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! (and yes...I celebrate my birthday ALL month!)
6. The oranges, reds and browns of the season just make me happy
7. It's the beginning of the holidays!

This year there are even more reasons to be excited about October! Early October we are going to Chicago to see my little cousin get married and then spend a couple of days in the city. Never been to Chicago, so we're really looking forward to that! Right after we get home from that we are heading on our first cruise!!!! I look forward to relaxing for 7 days! Our cruise is leaving from Ft. Lauderdale and we will be visiting San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Plus, I think my aunts and uncles are going to be visiting my mom and dad in October. Simply the best time of the year.

so my blog background may be slightly pre-mature but I just couldn't wait!
