Long time!

I have been a HORRIBLE blogger. I'm just SO busy so to my followers I apologize! I've tried to compile a quick re-cap to get you caught up. 2010 was an amazing year! Lots of travels, lots of work and lots of friends. We are expecting 2011 to be even better (because who am I kidding, each year is better than the last!). So here's a year-end re-cap for you:

In October we went to Chicago! Which is now one of my favorite big cities. We had such a good time, we went to see my cousin, Bethany, get married but since we had never been there we decided to tour the sites as well. Here's the corncob building from the river. It was a whirlwind trip and I would love to get back soon.

We got back from Chicago and about a week later took off on a Cruise to San Jan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. What an amazing vacation. We went with Nick's mom and Step-dad, Sean. We all had a wonderful time, how amazing it would be to be able to go on a cruise every year.

In November we went to the zoo with a group of friends. What a fun day! If you know me you know I LOVE the zoo, but it was so much better with friends who would goof off with me. I'm known to turn into a 5 year old when I'm excited and Nick is of course the always mature adult so it was fun to have friends that would act 5 with me :)

Late December it started snowing, it's snowed several times this winter and I am more than ready for spring. Although the snow is pretty I am always glad when it's gone.

We've filled the beginning of 2011 with friends and hockey (!!!). My beloved Carolina Hurricanes are currently 7th in the eastern conference so hopefully we'll be going to play-off games this year (come on Canes you can do it!). We are planning our next vacation, a relaxing week in the OBX the first week in May. Then we're headed to Florida for Nick's cousin's wedding a week later. Other than that we don't have many trips planned for this year but you know us, we'll always throw a few trips in here and there throughout the year. I'm so excited for this year, I'm loving my job even though it's mega stressful it's the happiest I've been at work in sometime. I of course love Nick more and more and Kitty is still the baby. Maybe one day we'll get her a friend but for now she's enough and super sweet. I hope that caught you up. And like I said last time I blogged....I'LL TRY TO BE A MORE CONSISTENT BLOGGER!
